Is Mira affiliated with any exam board or government?
No. Mira is independent speaking practice from Indilingo. She is not affiliated with or endorsed by any exam provider or government, and she can’t issue certificates or official scores. Always check the current rules with the official exam provider.
Which exams have a dedicated mock mode?
IELTS Speaking has its own mock-exam mode with an estimated band and feedback. For every other exam, add your exam and level to the custom instructions in your dashboard, or tell Mira at the start of the call, and she’ll practise in that style.
Can Mira help with the JLPT?
The JLPT has no speaking section, so there’s nothing to rehearse for the test itself. Many learners use Mira to prepare for the Japanese job and visa interviews that come after it.
How far before my exam should I start?
As early as you can. Speaking improves with repetition, so a few short calls a week for a couple of months usually beats cramming in the final days.
My exam isn’t listed. Can I still practise?
Yes. If your exam has a speaking part in any of Mira’s 100+ languages, describe the format to her and she’ll practise it with you.
Exam names belong to their owners and are used here only to describe what you can practise. Requirements change; check the official provider before you book.
Your speaking test starts with one call.
Pick the language you speak and the one your exam is in. Mira rings your phone and starts the conversation. Your first 3 minutes are free.
